Itch. Scratch. Itch. The cycle of itching and scratching seems never ending when you have chronic plague psoriasis. Plague Psoriasis is a simple form of psoriasis, an autoimmune disease that causes the formation of itchy, red patches on the skin. These patches most commonly are accompanied by a thick build up of silvery, dead skin cells. Chronic plague psoriasis causes intense itching and pain, accompanied by cracks in the skin and frequent bleeding. If you have been diagnosed with chronic plaque psoriasis, a clinical study may be an option.
