-A grassroots movement-
I am a local artist, former business owner and mom looking to interview women of New England, specifically NH, who have over come an alcohol addiction. I want to hear your entire story, the very bad and the very good. I want to know how you thrive now and the ways you are building your life in the aftermath of alcohol. I would love to speak to ALL women of all classes and ages and races and especially in the metaphysical- esoteric field/interest. I am working on a project that tells stories of the women battling alcohol addiction in an alcohol driven state- that is inspirational to women who have or want to overcome alcohol addiction and even to yourself. You can be completely anonymous if that's what you choose. There is no compensation but an opportunity to be a part of the tapestry of the story about women who are former alcoholics and their journey to a sober life.
Please message me for details and let's get together and talk. I Am in New Hampshire but would also do interviews with women in Maine and Massachusetts.
The next section is not exactly connected to the Above project but , is also an opportunity for those interested.
I am looking to start a group for women only who have overcome alcohol addiction that would be an alternative to Alcoholics Anonymous. Instead of getting together to talk about our "war stories" we would talk about the ways we are thriving in life after alcohol, as in what are you doing to find joy? What are the things you have discovered about yourself, what has helped you to completely stay sober? Those are a few examples of questions.
I would also like to see it become a space for the women to gather and do things like outings, art, crafts, events, share inspiration, teach each other a new talent etc. All of these things would be life enriching and another thing to add to our foundation of a fulfilling sober life so we can continue to stay that way. It would be A connection to other women at different stages of their journey.
Being sober from alcohol completely is not for everyone but if it is for you, send me a message about yourself and what you are looking for in sobriety.
