Established landscape company seeking a full time, experienced Delivery Driver and Yard Manager to coordinate and manage daily activities of the retail materials center and warehouse facility.
Job Responsibilities:
• Manage and maintain the retail store front, materials yard, and warehouse environment in an organized, clean, and safe manner.
• Process customer orders, coordinate and schedule delivery of materials.
• Manage in-bound materials deliveries.
• Operate front end loaders to load product into customer vehicles, trailers, and delivery trucks as required.
• Drive commercial dump truck to deliver product to customers’ home or business.
• Maintain company vehicles and related equipment.
• Be available for snow removal operations, performing all aspects of commercial snow removal.
Required Qualifications:
• Working knowledge of landscape materials and supplies.
• Valid CDL- B license.
• Verifiable, satisfactory driving record.
• Current DOT medical examiner’s certificate.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to pass pre-employment DOT drug test.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• 3-5 years experience operating front end loader and commercial dump truck.
• Willingness to work overtime.
• Available to work Saturdays seasonally.
• Basic computer skills.
• Customer service experience.
• Snow removal experience.
Employment hours:
• Monday – Friday, 6:45 am – 5:00 pm
• Saturday, 6:45 am – 4:00 pm (seasonally)
• Reduced hours off-season
• On-call prior to, during, and after snow storms.
