Summary

This position provides excellent customer service by installing tanks, regulators, piping, and appliances, operating propane/oil delivery trucks, and assisting with excavation and field work as needed. Seasonal rotation between Installation and Delivery departments is required.

Work Schedule

• M–F 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (Installation)
• M–Th/F 6:30 AM–5:00 PM (Delivery)
• Seasonal rotation between departments
• Additional hours as needed under state and federal guidelines

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain safe driving record and comply with all DOT regulations
• Install, maintain, and remove propane tanks of all sizes
• Install meters, regulators, gas piping, appliances, and related equipment
• Maintain service vehicle cleanliness, tools, and inventory
• Assist service technicians and respond to emergency tank-related situations
• Fill, paint, repair, and pump down tanks and cylinders
• Perform maintenance on excavation equipment and maintain cleanliness
• Manually dig as needed; perform outdoor field work
• Follow proper Digsafe procedures
• Operate line locating equipment
• Deliver petroleum products safely to customers
• Collect payments, record transactions, and submit leads
• Record delivery information and complete paperwork accurately
• Attend training, seminars, and delivery meetings
• Clean vehicle inside and out regularly
• Perform pre-trip inspections and routine truck maintenance
• Work weekends/overtime as needed (up to 60 hrs during winter)
• Communicate with dispatch and office staff regularly
• Schedule follow-up work when needed
• Wear company-provided uniforms and uphold brand values (Friendly, Simple, Safe)

Certificates, Licenses & Qualifications

• CDL with Tank & Hazmat Endorsements

• Must be 21+ years old
• NH Gas Fitters license piping (current)

• Ability to reach tank tops, read gauges, operate valves, and connect hoses
