The installation includes:
* Mounting the awning securely to the exterior wall.
* Ensuring it is properly leveled and aligned.
* Verifying the wall/framing can safely support the awning and using the appropriate anchors into structural framing (not just siding).
* Testing the manual crank to ensure smooth operation.
The house has composite siding, and the awning will be installed above the sliding door as shown in the attached photo.
