Baker Valley Floors is a family-oriented business that is looking for a sheet vinyl installer that measures, cuts, and fits continuous rolls of resilient vinyl flooring into residential or commercial spaces. They are responsible for flawless subfloor preparation, precise seam alignment, and securing the material with adhesives to ensure a durable, water-resistant finish.
* Surface Core Responsibilities Subfloor Preparation: Sweep, scrape, patch, and sand subfloors to remove imperfections that could telegraph through the vinyl. Use skim-coats or leveling compounds as needed.
*Placement Cutting & Fitting: Accurately cut sheet vinyl using specialized knives, scribes, and straightedges. Shape the material to fit snugly around corners, pipes, and cabinetry.
*Adhesive Application: Mix and spread the correct adhesives to ensure a strong, long-lasting bond between the vinyl and the subfloor.
*Finishing Touches: Roll the newly laid vinyl to eliminate air bubbles. Install transition strips, trims, and baseboards for a polished look.
