1 Very Large Vice and a 2nd - 5-inch Columbian Vice
I have Retired and have 3 Vices. Selling 2 of them. The largest two.
This is a VERY Large Vise and Very Very Heavy. I guarantee you couldn't carry this Vice the length of a Manchester City Block.
Unless you compete in the Strongman Competition.
Very Large Vice ~ I have included a few pictures of my smaller 4-inch Vice so you can Compare them. Huge difference. I am keeping the small Green Vice.
This is a Large Vice with a Huge Worktable for hammering and shaping metal.
Large Flat work/Hammer area - 6-inch-wide Jaws that open to 6 inches.
Chrome Handle to tighten the Jaws - This is a big heavy vice.
This Jaws on this havn't had very much use, look at the Jaws in pic 4, No wear at all. I used the flat hammering table shaping metal Far More than the Jaws of the vice. That was my original reason for purchasing this Particular Vice. I wanted an Anvil, but they cost WAY too much. Do a search here on CL for an Anvil and see for yourself.
This has two lockdowns one on each side to secure it from swiveling. It swivels most of a complete circle a Total of 320 degrees!
New Vices this Jaw size range from 150.00 up to 900.00 and even more depending on the manufacturer. You wont find a Cheap 6-inch Vice with a Hammering table like this.
I have had a few write and say that it isn't so Large. If you had to carry this the length of a City Block in Manchester - You couldn't do so. It is Very heavy. There is a Lot of Cast Iron here. This is Very Heavy!
2nd Vice - Your Choice, I will keep the one you don't Purchase. I am retired and only need one of them.
I don't know how any Hands On Man can be without a Vice!
