Rolling Tool Cart ~ New these start at 240.00 and go up. This is a 4-draw model.
On the top of the Cart I added wood, so to have a nice comfortable work area, also the Black paint on the top won't get scratched,
The top is on Hinges so it Opens Up for Additional Storage as Pictured.
When you open the Top to the left and right there are round openings to put LONG Items in like Long Ratchet x-tensions, Screwdrivers, Punches, and Pry Bars.
They hang down next to the drawers, there are about 18 or more holes. That's a LOT of Storage!
As a worktop or worktable, the steel painted top was very slippery. The wood makes it work Perfectly.
Plus it gave me something to screw/attach my 2 sets of wrench magnet rails to on the inside of the lid. Seen in Pic 2
You can put a LOT of Wrenches and other Tools on these powerful magnets.
This is 40 inches tall, 32 inches wide, and 18 inches Deep (front to rear)
This can be used for any type of work. My son is a Carpenter and brings one of these right into the House he is working on.
He has his Makita Table Saw set up on the top of it. In the draws he has all the smaller hand tools he as a carpenter might need, various size tape measures, speed squares, combination squares, Sawzall and Jigsaw blades, pencils, markers, plumb bobs, Chaulk lines, hand chisels, socket sets, wrenches, small levels. Hang your x-cords, sawblades etc on the peg boards.
When you go to visit an Auto Mechanic, they all have one of these and they roll it right under the vehicle. Of course they have their Massive Roll-Away Boxes. But these Compact Carts are for the hand tools they will use most frequently, and it keeps their hand tools right at easy reach.
This also has a pegboard added on the 2 sides. I Repaired Homes as well and this went everywhere with me. I brought this right in the House so i had a portable workbench. This was used by me a Carpenter, so it has NO Oil or Grease on it. Clean! I am Retired now and don't use it.
Some have said they can purchase 1 for a similar price new:
You need to make a Bunch of modifications to it for it to be like mine. You need to purchase some Plywood and make a worktable for the top. The wrench Magnets are 40.00 and you need to install them. But 1st you need to build a top for it so you can attach them. Then purchase some pegboard and install that. You will always need to have the top open to be able to open the drawers, unless you modify it like I have. My drawers open with the top closed. Sound Good? Just purchase this one.
