This is the LAST Saw model BEFORE the TILT-LOK Model began being MANUFACTURED. This Is a 7 1/4 " Circular Saw, and Uses A Typical 7 1/4 CIRCULAR Saw Blade. It still has the Original blade on it from the Factory and it is Sharp
Purchased for my Father by all us children and he used it a handful of times, basically because he was elderly and I built everything for him.
The Case is NOT Available, I have decided to keep it so as to have some memories of my father. It stays up on a shelf in my workshop and I am using it to store all my additional/extra New Saw Blades.
This Saw was Made in USA! Capable of square true "Cabinet Quality Cuts" This is Truly one of the Highest Quality and Most accurate Saws ever made by its design and construction.
This Saw will last you your Lifetime, and then some! Although it has been stored inside and barely used the rubber coating on the power cord has a few cracks in it.
Although the saw has had little use, the cord has some cracking on the rubber coating close to where it enters the saw, the spot that takes the most load. I consider it very much usable. I have dozens of older corded power tools I have been using for 20 - 30 years and Many/Most have cracking on the rubber coating, I use them every day as they are.
Do you still wish to see/purchase the saw? Many people order new cords online and change them if they have a concern. I do not care to take the time unless the power tool cord is so damaged so Badly that it creates a Hazard or the tool is no longer working. Which I have done a dozen times, it takes less than an hour to change a cord, cords can be purchased for specific tools online for as low as 15.00. I have often taken "Good cords" off tools I no longer like or are broken. Then it is FREE.
