This Toy has been made functional by replacing the Scale Tray (broken) with a 3D Printed Tray, plus I 3D Printed two cards
(Credit Card and Coupon Card) to replace the ones that were lost. The cards have slots cut out to work in the card scanner correctly and the cards are identified. It has recessed printing on the cards that do not show up in the picture all the well. You can color the recessed printing to make it more obvious and interesting for you child or even paint the whole card if you want.
Everything works.
This is an Excellent learning toy for kids to learn about money and counting and basic math exercises are built into the register.
This unit takes 3xC sizes batteries. Currently it has 3 AA used batteries in a 3D Printed Battery adapter to show that it works. I also bought a small cash register money card with fake cash and coins that are included and the coins do work in the coin identifier. FYI: Instructions say you can use real coins.
This is a fully functional talking/teaching cash register and an excellent learning tool for kids to learn about money and counting and various simple fun math exercises for them. Recommended for Ages 3+ to 8 years old.
