We are looking for a person who is willing to work on our homestead/small farm 30 hours a week in exchange for housing, all utilities included. We have a nice travel trailer with full kitchen, bath and separate bedroom, heat and air-conditioning, a generator and off-street parking. We are looking for a retired or semi-retired single person who is fit and experienced in some carpentry, some landscaping (mowing, weeding, etc), snow blowing or shoveling in the winter and knows horses and stock animals (sheep, goats, chickens, etc) and who could also house-sit for us in the event we are called away on a family emergency. We are looking for someone who is quiet, responsible and seeking a permanent situation, perhaps to supplement SS or retirement. Another job is certainly permissible and possible around the 30 hours of required work exchange. We are conveniently located to a town/city with all amenities, on the bus line, yet uniquely situated in an agricultural community with lots of green space. Looking for a "good fit" as living accommodations are adjoining our main house. We are private, quiet and very much about our animals and farm/homestead and ask you be the same. Please reply with brief description and a way to contact you. We are looking to move someone into the living space in May or June. Veterans and Spanish-speaking, immigrants are welcome and encouraged to apply. Thank you.
