Wilderness Systems Rascal, yellow, stored indoors/wrapped and Bending Branches 240cm Evening Breeze Paddle. Used approximately 5 times! Maximum weight carrying capacity is 250 lb. I bought this Rascal (original price was $359 on sale) for my wife who had an intense fear of water and the tippy sensation of a getting into a kayak; she could not tolerate sitting in my kayak even if I held onto the side of the cockscomb while standing in 2 feet of water. I looked at many short/wide kayaks but most of them had very flat hulls. I talked her into trying the WS Rascal because of it width and chined hull design that tracks well. She loved this kayak.. The Rascal is 30.5 wide and my wife at 5'2" has a short reach and was afraid to lean at all when she paddling. So I bought her a 240cm Bending Branches Evening Breeze, that cost me $225 at the time; armed with this ultra-lightweight paddle, on her second time on the water, she paddled the entire the entire circumference of the local pond. Still she was afraid of motorboat traffic. Selling kayak & paddle as a set, asking $450.
