The Ab Coaster CS1500 (originally manufactured by The Abs Company) is a commercial-grade core machine that targets your rectus abdominis and obliques through a guided "bottom-up" motion.
Core physical specs and operational dimensions:
- Assembled Dimensions: 53–54″ L × 23–27″ W × 53″ H
- Machine Weight: 90 to 93lbs
- User Weight Capacity: 400lbs
- Resistance System: Built-in resistance is 20lbs (with a standard training range of 20 to 80lbs)
- Weight Plate Capacity: It accommodates standard 1-inch plate weights via side pegs.
- Build & Material: Heavy-duty all-steel construction with stainless steel rails, ultra-glide nylon rollers, and urethane-molded padding.
- Seat Action: Features a free-style swivel motion seat that allows users to shift left and right to specifically target oblique muscles.
The machine has a max weight of 400lbs and a plate weight limit of 30lbs, however I have seen online where someone used an Olympic adapter to add up to 130lb in plate weights, assuming the overall weight (body and plates) does not exceed 400lbs.
