Gateway FPD2485W 24" inch monitor 1920x1200 resolution.
This monitor is a champ! I used the monitor just about daily for nearly 12 YEARS! I bought it in the summer of 2007 and just now I've upgraded to a pair of 2K monitors.
It comes with an adjustable stand and I believe it is VESA compatible, though I've always used it with the stand. It is a bit dusty but that is easily fixed.
It isn't without it's faults, there are a few small scrapes/scratches on the lower right of the screen that it got during a move. I almost never noticed them when using it, they stand out when the screen is off, though.
It uses a ton of electricity compared to a modern monitor (125W when in use, 5W on standby). It has a USB hub built in but it is only USB 2.1, you know, cause it is 12 years old.
It has one peculiar behavior, which is maybe 1 out of ever 5 wake ups from standby the Gateway logo will flash onto the screen and then get stuck there in the middle for about 30 seconds before disappearing. Your computer display comes up and you can use it, but the monitor is putting this Gateway logo over it until it clears. Once it does this, it keeps doing it every time you wake it up until you hard power cycle it.
It comes with a soundbar that is actually pretty good and integrates into the monitor itself. It has a DVI input, two sets of component inputs, and a VGA input as well as svideo. Comes with a heavy duty wrapped HDMI to DVI cable and power cable.
I'm sad to say good bye to this monitor. I've had it longer than any car, home, or pet. It has outlasted 4 desktop computers.
