See last pic for exact location.
Wacker generator GS 9.7 (now "Wacker-Neuson").
Beautiful machine.
Spec info is on the close-up pic of badge on frame.
For deep dive I can send you a PDF of the owner's manual (should still be online as well).
Purchased 6 years ago locally on Craigslist.
300 hours at purchase, now has 315.
NOTE: I recall seeing the readout on the hour meter fading in and out a couple of times. It did seem to be moving forward with an accurate reading, it was just that the numbers almost faded from view while running.
Mechanic owned who "overly maintained all of his equipment" (from saved email).
The seller was dispersing items of his friend who passed on.
Had some ideas for this but ended up barely using it, just routine startups/put load on system.
I replaced the Mikuni/MIJ fuel pump with same (weep-hole started leaking), replaced fuel petcock (leaking), changed oil and filter, new air filter.
At fuel pump replacement I replaced all fuel lines and clamps that were easy to get to.
Ran unknown fuel out at purchase, has since had only ethanol-free Mo-Gas from Hampton Airfield ($$$).
NOTE: The idle feature has always worked. Sold an AC end of summer, idle at rest would not function while testing AC (first time ever). Started again recently, idle function back to normal.
NOTE: When I changed the oil at purchase, the dipstick seemed inaccurate. I believe it read way over full? (long time ago).
If I remember correctly I drained the new oil out then carefully measured in the exact recommended amount. I'll have to look at the dipstick again, I believe it still reads way over.
