Here is a completely restored and updated Borg Warner T-10 4-speed Transmission with all the correct dates. This trans is the Close Ratio 2.20 1st Gear and has been updated with a new 27 spline output main shaft. (original shafts were 16 spline and the became twisted very easily.) The original Input is Standard chevy 10 spline. This trans has the updated solid keys and H.D. Springs for the Synchronizers along with new Torque Lock Sliding sleeves to prevent jumping out of gear. (this was a common problem in the original design) The Assembly date would indicate assembled late 1959 so this probably was installed in a 1960 car.
