-Please DO NOT purchase this tablet if you intend to use it for TECH2WIN. The installation process for tech2win is complicated, which is why I don't have it included as one of the installed software listed below guaranteed to work. Tech2Win requires all other software to be uninstalled before installing the VCX Nano Tech2Win. It also requires Windows 7 as well as the OS to be downgraded from a 64 bit OS to a 32 bit OS. Tech2Win will require a seperate computer that only runs Tech2Win and nothing else.
-Again, please do not purchase if you intend to use this for Tech2Win.
-GM Vehicles 2006 and older require Tech2Win for programming and diagnostics. My current setup (GDS2 and Techline Connect) will work FOR SOME 2007 - 2013 GM VEHICLES AND FOR ALL 2014 AND NEWER GM VEHICLES (Please check vehicle compatibility in image #3) for programming, diagnostics, and code clearing.

-Alot of users complain about the hassle of installing VCX Nano software, and most complain about the installation failing and not figuring out how to get it working.
All of that has been taken care of for you. This VCX Nano COMES WITH A 64GB MICROSOFT SURFACE 3 (OR NEWER SURFACE) WINDOWS 11 TABLET WITH THE MOST COMMON VCX NANO SOFTWARE PRE INSTALLED AND READY TO GO!
-I mainly used this tool to reflash the hybrid powertrain control modules on Chevy Volts to eliminate the P0AFA error code and get the cars running again.
-I also used it to re-enable and bring back to life Chevy Volts that were disabled due to being rear ended
by using the "Reset High Voltage Disable Request After Crash Event Detected" command/procedure.
-I tried as hard as I could to make this as user friendly and as plug and play as possible for the average Joe. I also included pretty detailed step by step instructions that I made myself for the most common functions.
-If you own a Chevy Volt with the POAFA error code, the Service High Voltage Charging System error code, or if you own a Chevy Volt or Hybrid vehicle with the High Voltage battery auto disabled due to a crash detected, i've also
included additional instructions with the main instructions on how to use this tablet to clear those codes.
Microsoft Surface tablet has a yellow tint, on white backgrounds, mostly around the corners of the screen.
Microsoft Surface tablet also has very visible screen stars as shown in image #9. Stars are most visible on black backgrounds.

GDS2 (Free Bi-Directional OBD code scanner, live data viewer, diagnostics, dealer code reader and code clearer with special functions)
VX Manager (For updating VCX Nano software with free lifetime updates)
Techline Connect and Service Programming System (SPS2) (GM's proprietary software for programming, flashing, updating and upgrading vehicle computer modules - Requires a 2 year, $45 subscription per vehicle, to AC Delco TDS for access to GM servers. During these 2 years you can flash, reflash, and update as many modules as you would like. Instructions are included on how to purchase the subscription and link it to the VCX Nano).
NO TECH2WIN (Do not purchase if you want to use tech2win, it won't work with the setup I have).
