As a Produce Sales Administrator, you will inform customers of order information, such as unit prices, shipping dates, and any anticipated delays. Receive and respond to customer complaints; interaction with other departments is crucial in helping to resolve complaints. Receives, prioritizes, and processes customer orders; review orders for correct price, promotional issues, and customer comments. Process accounts payable, prepare and issue applicable credits after collecting and analyzing data. Reconcile orders to ensure accuracy, check inventory records to determine availability of requested merchandise, attempt to sell additional product to prospective or current customers by telephone, as well as other duties as required to help meet business objectives. As the Produce Sales Administrator, you will also be responsible for analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems such as the most cost effective way to handle reshipping product, suggesting substitutes, and explaining how a new item might help sales or profits. In addition, the roles involves developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time. This position requires a schedule of Monday through Friday.
Qualifications, preferences and experience
As our Produce Sales Administrator, you need to have high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service; this includes customer needs assessments, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Have effective communication skills including the ability to negotiate effectively. Possess the ability to deal calmly and effectively with high stress situations including but not limited to high call volume and customer complaint resolution and willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges. The successful candidate will have basic computer skills with knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint. As well as skills in basic math, addition, subtraction and multiplication (including percentages). Industry experience is a plus.
