We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented person to join our growing team. In this role, you will manage bookkeeping responsibilities while aiding with daily operations. This includes tracking payroll, helping maintain accurate financial records, managing vendor accounts and supporting financial growth. With plenty of room to grow, this position offers an opportunity for someone to join a well-established commercial painting company that has a proven track record of long-term employment.
Duties:
· Manage accounts payable, receivables and retainers
· Maintaining and developing client relationships
· Process weekly Payroll
· Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations
· Prepare journal entries, conduct account analysis
· Generate detailed financial reports and assist with budgeting/ job costing for various projects
· Track completed work and ensuring all Invoices are processed
· Generate change orders
· Assist with weekly reports (billable hours, job summaries)
· Maintain organized records and support office operations
Skills:
· Proficiency with high-end accounting software/Payroll software
· Must have experience with invoicing, billing and bookkeeping
· Experience with Sage is preferred
· Familiarity with Construction accounting requirements and tax experience is a plus
· Ability to perform balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger accounting accurately
· Experience with websites such as Procore, Textura and Paychex is a plus
· Must have reliable transportation to support local travel to the bank, post office, and work-related meetings.
