The tonewood pairing of Indian rosewood with Sitka spruce in our versatile Grand Auditorium body shape is always a hit, and with the new 414ce-R LTD, players can enjoy the sonic benefits of that configuration with a beautifully elevated aesthetic character befitting the limited-edition label. The rosewood/spruce combination yields a rich, full-spectrum tone profile with warm lows, pristine trebles and a slightly scooped midrange, with our V-Class bracing inside to improve the volume, sustain and overall harmony across the guitar’s entire register. This model earns its limited-edition title with a gorgeous, intricate Lily and Vine fretboard inlay design in stunning mother-of-pearl that has only rarely appeared in select custom guitars. Other aesthetic appointments include white binding with a matching three-ring rosette, nickel tuners, a faux tortoiseshell pickguard, full-body gloss finish, and a tobacco shaded edgeburst color treatment for the top.
