This is made by Gemini and is very comparable to a Bose L1 Compact. Like the Bose, this puts out a very loud, clean sound and would be a good live PA for an acoustic group. In fact, it is loud enough that it might work for a rehearsal PA for a rock band. It's set up in my music room, so you can easily try it out and compare it to the Bose. It is in new condition with no road rash. We bought a second home in Florida, and I bought this to use there. I used it twice, and it did a wonderful job. Then we decided to sell the second home and spend winters in New Hampshire, so I no longer need it.
It has 250 watts of power for the 8" high-excursion driver with a 2" high-temperature voice coil. The 6 aluminum 2 inch HF drivers are powered by a separate 50 watt amp. There is a XLR balanced out to connect it to a second system.
There are 2 XLR mic inputs/quarter inch line inputs with individual volume controls as well as a master volume control. There is an adjustable reverb, which is really more of an echo, but does the job. There is a stereo line input for a music player, or you can sync your phone/tablet through Bluetooth and play music between sets, although I never tried it out. There is a 3 way switchable tone control for the system.
The entire system weighs 28 pounds. There is a carry bag for the 3 column pieces, so it's easy to carry into a gig. It sets up quickly; just attach the column pieces, run your cables, and plug it in.
This is located in Moultonborough, NH. Phone calls evenings only please. The phone doesn't accept texts. If the ad is up it is still available.
