We used two of these for live performance for years. sometimes stringing an unpowered spot speaker or two as well. They're pretty bombproof, and with each powered speaker able to power a second _unpowered_ spot speaker, your ensemble can finally all "hear one another" during performance. Yeah. Greatly improves harmonies.
Two are available, each in Manchester NH exit 9 off I-93 or Amoskeag Bridge Exit off of Everett Tnpk Rte 3.
Good weight to these speakers, a statement about longevity. well-constructed case, and a solid power supply to deliver good quality audio. Two inputs, a 1/4" jack (back), and an XLR jack (front), each under separate volume control, with three filters for audio output. Each speaker "sits" on a typical, vertical microphone stand -- and I can add one to the deal for $10 more.
Each is a great practice amp too -- with an input for guitar or keyboard, and a microphone -- no mixer needed.
