- Epiphone Explorer Goth edition. Really nice, This one was made in Korea at the 'I' plant which is Usung, Korea.
Rosewood fretboard.
Upgraded Seymour Duncan custom shop 'El Diablo' super high output bridge pickup. Sounds great on any amp.
It has a Seymour Duncan Jazz in the neck as pictured but it's blue and I'm replacing it with a stock era vintage Epiphone HOTCH neck pickup which has a DCR reading of 8.49 which is around a PAF output spec. $454
It has some finish cracks around the neck as many of these do. It hasn't move since I've owned it for about 5 years. I keep it in tune and play it occasionally. I love and loved this guitar and really babied it.
I am only reluctantly selling because I always wanted a Korina natural one the most, and then finally found 2 that were reasonably priced and got those. And also mostly because I have too many guitars. I hardly play this now as I grab my 'Clapton Cut' 2011 Epiphone now. Have family members on a warpath against me with too many guitars and I've already sold off about 6-7 in the past 2 years.
-Steinberger Spirit GT - built 2000 or 2001 - headless with Steinberger tremolo - 3 EMG select pickups. Solid maple Neck Thru!
Very resonant. Stupid low action, fast neck. Has the patented flip out ‘kickstand’ which works great to play sitting. Black.
Great little guitar but I have a traveler I grab for the road (slightly different bodied Arbor Steinberger with asymetrical body shape a little bigger on upper ‘wing’ is my go to. Took 2 years to find it - can’t find one for sale anywhere). Comes with Steinberger travel soft carry case. Only just finally decided to sell this one. $325
- Firefly FFLX ‘explorer’ type blue burst color. With their version of a Floyd style double locking tremolo. Very rare to come with this. Most never did. All stock. Arrived with dead neck pickup. It’s not the wiring either :/ I checked that. Found that out far too late to hound GuitarsGarden. You CANNOT buy this super cool shape anymore. They super modified and uglified this series to likely avert Gibson pressure. It’s brand new, only tuned and played a couple runs of chords on. All the hang tags included and factory box and packing. This is a sweet player but I’ve several other vintage Exporers guitars I like a little better and are my everyday players. $275
- Cort Effector ‘explorer’ type. All white, banana headstock. Rare in this color - bought for the Metallica / Hetfield feel. Bolt on neck. Great looking and great condition guitar for it’s age. Tons of fret life, little use. Very little marks / scuffs / dings. A few. Should be mid 80s MIK. $325
- Synsonics ‘explorer’ type. Very rare. This took me 3 years to find one. They are always ugly Strats. Very small lightweight explorer shape. 5.5 lbs. Black. I fixed the electronics on it (soldering) and got the pickup working again and freed stuck pots. Shimmed the bolt on neck. Adjusted saddles. Have done a fair bit of work on the neck. It’s still not perfect. Lost interest in it and no time for more fiddling with it. It probably needs fret work to handle some of the buzzing issues on some of the neck. Needs new strings too - very old which I’m sure isn’t helping it either. Has built in speaker - haven’t tested it as it requires (2) 9 Volt batteries and haven’t gotten to that. But it sounds good thru my Vox Valvetronic amp for an inexpensive guitar. $225
- a couple acoustics. Maybe a project MIK one that’d I’d throw in free if you want it. Needs a bunch of work and probably a nut
-Aria 1532T made 1970 Japan. Offset pushed even past the Jazzmaster shape. Aria’s very own unique design. A stunner. Burst, all stock pickups. Stupidest easiest action of any guitar by far. 23.8” scale length. Gorgeous near new looking condition. This is not the new re-issue 2020 era that sucks from China. This is the real deal Japan original one. Basically for my electrics I’m all in on Explorers or I’d keep this rarity. Weighs nothing, like 5 something pounds. $525 TRADED / GONE
