Transparent Blue flame maple top.
Mahogany solid body and neck.
White binding on body and fretboard.
Not a scratch or blemish on this new guitar. Fantastic frets.
Locking tuners and tremolo with fine tuners. VERY unusual in this series by Firefly. Factory installed.
Very very nice guitar. I agree it's as good as a $599 - 650 brand new Epiphone Explorer (I've got a 2004 MIK Goth Epi and a 2011 MIC Epi Explorer). It's as good. Maybe better.
I was in the zone of playing baseball bat thick super chunky necks. This neck is, however, great. Hard to find fault with it.
I’m on the fence of selling it. I finally played this one night and found the neck to be fantastically comfortable.
Tuners work awesome in this. Very easy to use and lock. Comes with several Allen keys to lock and make all adjustments to trem.
So.... I'm selling this one or testing the waters.
I very recently bought a used '23 model Inspired by G. Epiphone Korina with the fat '59 spec neck.
8.5 pounds weight on my postal scale. The locking tuners and tremolo probably make this one a little heavier than the common FFLX models.
