Really nice Epiphone Explorer Goth edition. This one was made in Korea at the 'I' plant which is Usung, Korea.
Rosewood fretboard.
Upgraded Seymour Duncan custom shop 'El Diablo' super high output bridge pickup. Sounds great on any amp.
It has a Seymour Duncan Jazz in the neck as pictured but it's blue and I'm replacing it with a stock era vintage Epiphone HOTCH neck pickup which has a DCR reading of 8.49 which is around a PAF output spec.
It has some finish cracks around the neck as many of these do. It hasn't move since I've owned it for about 5 years. I keep it in tune and play it occasionally. I love and loved this guitar and really babied it.
I am only reluctantly selling because I always wanted a Korina natural one the most, and then finally found 2 that were reasonably priced and got those. And also mostly because I have too many guitars. I hardly play this now as I grab my 'Clapton Cut' 2011 Epiphone now. Have family members on a warpath against me with too many guitars and I've already sold off about 6-7 in the past 2 years.
Price is firm. No stupid trades like any strats. A korina explorer maybe or Washburn A20 would be great. Or a Japanese built oddity. I can add some cash to a cherry burst flame Washburn A20. I love those.
The pick guard is original. Photographed outside. The 'swirls' are clouds above!
