New Google Pixel 9a given to me by a customer for helping him with another. Phone was setup but he lost his record of the correct credentials. His newly created Google account was then locked when he tried to recover the account. Phone pin is unknown and Google account used to setup the phone is unknown. The phone won't tell you. Phone was sold to him by USCellular store in Keene NH. Device powers up fine and starts the setup, but fails to finish without entering the accurate credentials. My customer went back to the store and they told him there was nothing they could do (seems ridiculous) and they sold him a new Pixel 9a at 1/2 off the price he paid for the first one. It seems that there are complex procedures to recover such locked phones that some users report to be successful but I spent two hours trying. Nothing worked. If you know how to do it, this is essentially a new phone only a few days out of the box. NOTE: I CAN PROBABLY GET RECEIPTS FROM HIM FOR BOTH OF THE PHONES THAT HE PURCHASED. This is NOT a stolen phone.
