About the Role
I’m looking for a dependable driver with a pickup truck or cargo vehicle to assist with Facebook Marketplace inspections, pickups, and deliveries related to property improvement and general projects at a residence in Newmarket.
This role requires good judgment, clear communication, and the ability to safely pack, load and transport items.
Key Responsibilities
Drive to seller locations (typically within 30–60 minutes)
Inspect items in person to confirm they match the listing description
Verify condition, completeness, and basic functionality where applicable
Communicate with me in real time (text/photos/video) if anything is unclear
Pack, lift, and secure items properly for transport
Transport items safely to Newmarket
Assist with unloading upon arrival
For very large or heavy items, a helper will be sent as needed — you are not expected to lift unsafe loads alone.

Requirements
Pickup truck, van, or large SUV (pickup strongly preferred)
Valid driver’s license and insurance
Comfortable interacting with sellers professionally
Able to assess whether items are as described
Physically capable of lifting and loading typical Marketplace items
Reliable, punctual, and responsive by phone/text
Ability to carry up to 40 lbs
Preferred
Experience with Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist purchases
Familiarity with tools, construction materials, or home projects
Ability to tow single axel trailer
Compensation
Up to $25/hour, based on experience and reliability
Fuel reimbursed
Paid same day in cash upon delivery
