Job Description
Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Start time: 7:00 a.m. at our shop in Hudson, NH
• End time varies depending on the day's workload
• 40-hour minimum work week
• Weekly overtime available
We are looking for motivated individuals to assist with sewer and drain cleaning, excavations, repairs, and general labor while providing outstanding customer service.
This position is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the trades. You'll receive hands-on training alongside experienced Drain Technicians with the opportunity to advance into a Drain Technician position based on performance and interest. Advancement is encouraged but not required.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Assist Drain Technicians with sewer and drain cleaning, excavations, repairs, and other field work.
• Safely drive company vehicles to and from job sites.
• Load, unload, organize, and transport tools, equipment, and materials.
• Prepare, maintain, and clean up job sites.
• Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Assist with maintaining company vehicles, shop, and yard.
• Perform general property maintenance as needed, including shoveling snow, raking leaves, and keeping the property clean.
• Collect trash and empty exterior trash barrels daily.
• Complete assignments from Technicians and Office staff safely, efficiently, and professionally.
• Deliver excellent customer service while representing All Drain Services in a professional manner.
Requirements (Previous experience is not required—we'll provide the training. You must be willing and physically capable of learning and performing the essential functions of the job.)
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work throughout the day.
• Ability to bend, squat, kneel, reach, climb, dig, and carry equipment safely.
• Comfortable working in confined spaces, outdoors, and in varying weather conditions, including heat and cold.
• Comfortable using ladders and performing occasional jackhammering and excavation work.
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing job responsibilities.
• Proven reliability and consistent, punctual attendance are required.
• Ability to follow instructions, work independently when needed, and contribute positively as part of a team.
• Commitment to working safely and following company procedures.
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)
• Previous experience in manual labor, construction, sewer/drain work, landscaping, or another skilled trade.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools.
• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
