We are prepping for Fall lamb harvest on our homestead and we have a handful of ewe lambs that would be a shame to harvest except that we need to reduce flock size next year so are offering for sale @ $300 each.
They have been in with the ram so you should anticipate lambing in Feb.
Ram is very close to pure but not papered (he is from a farm in southern MA.)
Ewes are born on our homestead and are mostly Kathadin with some Dorper genetics mixed in (original blood lines from northern VT.)
We have been raising sheep here for ~ 10 years, only on pasture, easy lambing, zero health problems (never even needed antibiotics.)
They are electric fence trained to the extent that's a thing.
Typically these ewes have twins but often we see singles in the first pregnancy (which is better all around for their health.)
Must purchase at least two if you don't have other sheep currently.
$300 each--worth more in our freezer.
Pictures suck but I can take better ones or you can come see for yourself.
