The reel was working properly the last time I used it, it shows some wear and may be good Primarily to roll the hose quickly and to make transporting the hose Much easier.
If the hose reel leaks You may need to connect the Hose to the Faucet Directly?
I moved this around often as I am a gardener. That is the way I have used it, to roll the hose Quickly and to be able to move the 100 ft of hose everywhere I went Quickly, Easily, Compactly.
