A vintage Turkish Adana Yoruk rug/runner, age approx. 1960...1970. In good and clean condition considering age. Hand-knotted, wool on wool foundation. Healthy pile and tribal style borders. Very charming Adana design with geometric figures and stars. Warm colors from vegetable and mineral dyes. Lots of abrasch which gives the rug a special charm. Adana rugs are Anatolian village rugs from the broader Çukurova and southern Anatolian regions. This is a rug for folks with s special taste for unique rugs. Size 8'8" x 4'0".
