An authentic Persian Sarouk Mir runner. Pre-owned, in mint and clean condition. Hand-knotted, wool on cotton foundation. Healthy pile, strong borders. The runner lays straight and flat. Typical Sarouk Mir design of floral pattern, main color is light blue pink. Sarouk Mir rugs are of high-quality and are from the Markazi province of Iran, from the village of Saruk near Arak. They are known for their durable wool-on-cotton construction. In the early 20th century the Sarouk Mirs were mostly produced for the USA market. Size 8'4" x 34 inches.
