This is a metal frame which can be quickly and easily disassembled for moving or storage which is why I kept it for the bedroom on the second story of the house. It has a wooden headboard which I believe is pine so it's lightweight, brand-new hardware for attaching headboard to frame, you can buy it with just the Headboard, frame and box spring mattress for $125.00.
This is not a platform bed, so it doesn't have the wooden slats which is why there's a box spring.

you may also buy the above complete with a 7" Tempur-pedic from Bob's stores and a box spring mattress for $250.00

This has been in the upstairs guest room, starting to downsize.
