Up for sale is a folk art rooster created in 2017 and signed by the artist (me). It is the only one you'll ever see like it as there is only this one. It is made from upcycled goods. The body was made from two pieces of pine log siding with the curved sides facing out and glued together and shaped and then covered in one of my 40 + yr. old red flannel shirts and finished off with some white buttons and ribbon. The head is fashioned from an old silver plate spaghetti scooper and some carved wood bits and pieces. The legs are made from some old eggbeaters and the tail is from a very old hand forged oddly shaped hoe and the broken off handle was fashioned into the neck. It sits on a wooden base and is a pretty good sized object and displays well sitting on the floor or a shelf. I think it's a pretty cool piece maybe you do as well, if so give me a call.
