The New Hampshire Soap Box Derby announces that its 76th Annual Local Championship Race will be held on June 2, 2019 for the first time ever in Nashua, NH in the parking lot near 121 Canal St, racing from Lock St.
Soap Box Derby provides opportunities for girls and boys ages 7 years old & up to assemble, then take the steering wheel of their gravity powered car down a 500 ft or more track in side by side competition. Participating in soap box derby provides students the opportunity to sharpen their STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) skills. Participants from Brookline-to-Berlin and Keene-to-Dover will gather for the event.
For complete information see the website: NH.SoapBoxDerby.Org. Or text “603Champ” to 22828 (msg and data rates apply).

The club has a limited number of pre-assembled cars that can be borrowed for the events and refurbished kits to assemble. New car kits are available online at: www.soapboxderby.org
The events are free for spectators. Families with younger children are encouraged to come see the event and build excitement for their chance to race at age 7.
