Made by Skatron Instruments in Norway this Molecular Devices Micro Plate Skan Washer 400 is from NH State Surplus sales and was little used while in the state laboratories. It is an all-inclusive, automatic 96-well microplate washer with built-in pressure and vacuum pumps. No external pumps are required and the individual pressure settings allow adjustments for a very gentle wash to a more vigorous "jet" washing without "stripping" the plate. It comes with what you see in the photos and because it is in excellent condition (except one adjustable foot has lost its pad - but still works) it presents the opportunity to acquire a top-flight instrument for a fraction of the usual price. Manuals and accessories are readily available on the net. $50 cash and you can take it to your lab.
