Submitted for your consideration is a vintage TELECHRON Electric Mantel Clock, which is in fine working condition. Telechron Corporation was founded by Henry E Warren, and began operations as The Warren Clock Company in Ashland Massachusetts in 1912. General Electric began to absorb parts of the company just prior to World War II, and escalated their interest upon Henry Warren's retirement in 1943. GE continued to make Telechron clocks into 1992.
This clock is cased in Mahogany Wood veneer, and probably from the late 1940s or early 1950s(?). The metal ID plate on the back is stamped model "4F01". Bottom of clock is stamped "F.M." in neon yellow (original or add-on?). Appears someone has crudely scratched "1766" into bottom, but can't fathom why. Please see pics.
DIMENSIONS = 14"L x 7"H x 4"W
CONDITION = Excellent, overall. Second Hand turns upon being plugged in. Some light scratches/wear to the wood veneer, but nothing terminal. It's all there, and ready to take its rightful place on a mantel, bureau or shelf.
Price is FIRM @ $50.00/cash. NO HAGGLERS! ~ T'aint no yahhd sale, folks. Buyer to pick up in CONCORD NH.
IMPORTANT: Don't expect a reply from ''Is item still for sale?". Please put TELECHRON CLOCK in your inquiry. A PHONE NUMBER tells me your interest is genuine (will not call without your permission).
