** The FIRST ALL STEEL STATION WAGON built in the US... known as the world's first SUV!
** The 1947 Willy's Station Wagon was introduced in 1946 by Willys-Overland Motors
** One of Willy's most successful post-World War II models
** Concentrates on luxury over military efficiency
** Designed to be a stylish, comfortable, luxurious, and spacious family car to accommodate larger post-war families that were moving to the suburbs
** The side panels are made of strong steel, which replaced the creaky heavy wood of previous models that had to be constantly maintained.
This Willys Wagon is currently in unrestored condition, shows some rusting, and does not run... sold on a Bill of Sale only.
-- Plenty of patina, surface rust, and some invasive rust on this vehicle
