Job Type: 30 HOURS PER WEEK (Tuesday-Friday— 6 hours per day from 10am-4pm)
About Us
We run a busy, successful moving company from inside a used furniture showroom. We pride ourselves on giving our community great service, whether we are moving their homes or helping them find the perfect used couch.
The Role
We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and organized Customer Service Representative to join our team. Most of your day will be spent in your own comfortable, private office managing customer requests through phone and email. And some time will be spent on the showroom floor helping customers browse our furniture selection.
What You Will Do
* Answer Phones: Greet callers warmly, answer questions about our moving services, and book appointments.
* Give Quotes: Calculate and provide accurate price estimates for moving jobs over the phone and via email.
* Manage Emails: Respond quickly and professionally to online inquiries and customer messages.
* Showroom Support: Walk the furniture floor to greet customers, answer questions, and process furniture sales.
* Keep Organized: Keep track of moving schedules and basic store paperwork.

Requirements
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills (polite phone voice, clear emails).
* Basic computer skills (email, calendar booking).
* A friendly, helpful attitude with a love for customer service.
* Ability to stand and walk around the furniture showroom as needed.
* Moving industry or retail experience is a plus, but we will train the right person!
