Submitted for your consideration is a well-preserved Free-Westinghouse "Rotary Deluxe" model electric sewing machine in a walnut veneer cabinet. My research says these were manufactured from 1926 to 1954, which coincides with the copyright date of 1934 on the Original Manual (also included). Many extras go with this sewing machine; Rotary Attachments, Needles, Bobbins, an extra 250-w Light Bulb - still in its package, Tools, more Attachments - and parts that I don't know what they do. Four boxes of stuff, plus at least two manuals, and all kinds of other goodies. Appears the previous owner, "Helen", was a sewing pro!
This sewing machine came from an estate sale, and I saw it work fine on a test run (including light bulb). However, it didn't run recently when I plugged it in - just a hum. A fix-it type friend for a look-see, and it ran fine...lol. But there appears to be a short somewhere(?). I have been advised by an electrician NOT to run the motor as is. FYI.
DIMENSIONS = 22" x 17"x 30"h
CONDITION = The top has some light scratches, a blotch, and a small piece missing on the corner (see pics), but everything else is in decent condition. Motor needs work (see above). Nice enough to pass for a piece of furniture.
Price is FIRM @ $90.00/Cash. NO HAGGLERS! ~ Taint no yahhd sale, folks! Buyer to pick up in CONCORD NH.
IMPORTANT ~ If you can read this ad, the Free-Westinghouse sewing machine is still for sale. Please mention it in your inquiry. A Phone Number tells me your interest is genuine. Thank you, very kindly.
