Boat shoes have a Special Sipe'd sole that keeps you from slipping on Wet Fiberglass. The soles are also a " Special " Rubber compound that will NOT mark or scratch Fiberglass Boats. And they are Super Comfy Moccasins that will last for 10 years easily.
These are Essentially a High Quality Leather Moccasin .. The more you wear them ~ The more comfortable they become . These are designed to last for up to 10 yrs. They DO NOT need to be worn Only on a Boat!

For those that have asked , Boat shoes have " Siped " Non-Marking Soles. The sipes are tiny grooves in the sole and are similar to Very Expensive Snow Tires. They are a Non-Slip designed for walking on Wet Expensive Fiberglass Boats. The Specially Designed soles do NOT leave black hard to clean scuffs on the Fiberglass.
These are a Very High-Quality Designer Boat shoe. All leather Uppers, designed to last for Many Years. These have leather insoles. Cheap shoes have cloth and cardboard inside.
