This is a variety of Yakima products for carrying bikes on the rooftop of your vehicle. Besides bikes, some of the items can be used for other sports equipment.
These are offered as a complete lot, meaning you take one item or take them all, same price.
The entire collection is shown in Photo #1. From the upper right and going clockwise, the lot includes:
A pair of round crossbars and towers for the roof
A wind fairing
A top tube adapter
A two-bike set of wheel forks, wheel trays, and bike-fork clamps with skewers
A pair of carriers for skis or snowboards
A single upright bike carrier
Details:
Photo #2 — Crossbars: 48" long, 4 Yakima Baseline Towers, pair of #145 attachment clips (front), #130 clips (rear). Towers set up for round bars, but pieces fitting other bar shapes included. Yakima SKS locks included.
Photo #3 — Wind fairing quiets wind noise (reduces drag), 43 inches long, held to crossbar by 3 clamps. A short crack near the center, but stopped from growing by rubber-bushed screw and nut in a drilled hole.
Photo #4 — The “Tube Top” adapter lets a bike without a top tube (e.g., one having a step-through frame) to use a hanging bike carrier like vertical hitch-mounted masts.
Photo #5 — Wheel forks and other pieces to carry two bikes. Each fork (combo of Yakima and Thule pieces) carries front wheel upright on crossbar, with bike’s fork separately held to crossbar with clamp and skewer, and rear wheel held in tray on opposite crossbar.
Photo #6 — Pair of Yakima ski or snowboard carriers to clamp on crossbars. They’re old (maybe 1990s) but still servicable, Yakima SKS locks included. Width available for skis or snowboards about 22 inches.
Photo #7 — Yakima Raptor “Aero” carries one bike upright on crossbars, with no need to remove front wheel. Set up for round bars, but pieces for other bar shapes included.
Many fasteners upgraded to stainless steel. Yakima's instruction sheets for all items.
