This was my grandfather's wood sailing dinghy he had in the Adirondacks, and sailed it near Saranac Lake. He purchased it new from the New England Boatworks in Mianus, CT, known for their launches and excellent craftsmanship. After he passed it was held and sailed by my uncle in Minerva, NY, where it was regularly sailed until about 8 years ago.
The boat is about 12' long, about 5' wide, and has a centerboard and barn door rudder. The rigging and bowsprit have been changed, the mast will need to have about a foot scarfed onto its bottom as it rotted, and the sails will need to be repaired or replaced. It comes with a Load Rite galvanized trailer. The boat and trailer have been stored out of the weather, and are in excellent and well maintained condition. Once she goes in the water and swells, she will provide yers of enjoyment and a special sailing experience.
