After retirement many active pilots liked to gather and reminisce about "The good Old Days", and tell stories....sometimes embellishing the actual facts (just a little). At the time there was a rather active group...pilots HAD to retire at age 60 at one time. Many of them had many years of life left in their bodies, and although there were local meetings in or near where the pilots were based, they were living around the world - truly. In order to share news, events, and general stories with all the members of the Association, a magazine was published several times a year and mailed to all members. I have several issues which I am not allowed to take to the cemetery when I go there - so...look at the covers, tell me which one you want ( quantity discount available) and you can come pick it (them ) up, or for a small (I hope) additional charge, the USPS can deliver it (them) to your door. The magazines contain news of interest to the members - about the members, some of them are quite humorous and "mostly" true.The issues are around 100 pages each, 8 1/2" X 11", and reasonably large print (some of us have "old"eyes).
"There are old pilots and bold pilots, but no old, bold pilots." and many pilots with interesting stories to share.
