Needs a new front chain ring and the key for the locking mechanism is missing, so you'd need to use a regular bike lock. The reason it needs the new front chain ring is because it struggles to shift from the middle gear (2) to the highest (3) on the front, but all other gears and moving down from high to low works fine. One or more teeth on the ring are bent, resulting in the flaw.
Otherwise, works well. I used to commute to work on this bike, even in its current condition.
