US Military Army and Air Force Mobile Field Mess Kitchen Trailer Modified MKT99. $9500
Made by PENN Metal Fabricators 5,794 lb. GVWR, has leveling jacks, spring suspension, trailer handbrake, 9.00-20 tires, road legal, fully registered with included pintle hitch adapter. Trade for awd truck, tractor or rv.
Fully functional - converted military to civilian use; lights converted to 12v, trailer brakes converted to electric, electrical plug has been converted to common round 7 pin trailer plug. Desert tan painted frame includes canvas road cover, full set winter / storm canvas sides and full winter snow skirt (currently installed), bug screen sides and 6 adjustable roof vents.
Fully equipped with 4’ griddle, 2 ovens, 2 boiler burners, food warmers, utensils, cookware and more. All 6 burners have been replaced with clean and easy to use propane burners, All cooking areas run on standard propane 4 tanks are included. 4 burners are 50,000 BTU each and 2 are 200,000 BTU each for a total of 600,000 BTU's of cooking power! Flexible Rubber Gas Lines are included.
Tow it anywhere and cook anything. Unbelievably rugged, can handle any terrain you can get your tow vehicle through, even set up to be dropped from a helicopter or plane (cargo parachute recommended).

Prior owners used to serve 200-300 students and families of a rowing team at Regattas all around New England preparing 2 to 3+ meals per day for everyone. At one Regatta they cooked and served a full Thanksgiving dinner for 300 people including 60 Lbs of roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, green beans, pasta salads, soups, warm dinner rolls, stuffing, multiple other dishes and all of the other "fixings" that go along. All of that being prepared on the trailer from raw ingredients, and cooked on the trailer, while setup in the mud with a driving rain, at the side of a river in upstate NY. The MKT made it look easy!

Trailer has been rewired for 12V civilian plug and LED tail lights. Electric over hydraulic brake unit has been added which will function off of the vehicles brake controller.
