LISTING IS FOR THIS OLD BANJO CLOCK Circa 1825 By Simon Willard and Son Aaron Willard Jr. (1783-1864), Boston, Massachusetts, Banjo Clock W/ Americana Monticello Scene and The Face Plate look to have been replaced at one time. the clock is v/heavy and has a large lead weight. the clock will run but is very sensitive to balance all the clock works are hand made the brass was made in u.k. or France. THE INITIALS ARE IN BACK OF CLOCK ON THE WOOD WORK LOOK TO BE S .W . THE TOP OF THE WEIGHT LOOK TO HAVE INITIALS TO BUT HARD TO SEE THE WEIGHT HAS 7 1/2 LB ON IT TO. yes the Finial is on the clock but may not be the Original to clock but we do not know. yes has the clock key SEE PICS - IT IS A 7.5 Weight Driven Banjo Wall Clock. this clock was compared to an original Simon 95% LOOKED Exactly the same and that clock sold for more $$$$$
