(google map)

This is a fancy iron table base that was from a business in Pittsfield, New Hampshire, in the late 1800's. The business was owned by a former governor of New Hampshire, Hiram A. Tuttle. His name is on the base. There is still the historic Tuttle mansion in Pittsfield. This is a real, proven piece of New Hampshire history. Tuttle was born in Barnstead and ended up in Pittsfield where he had a long successful career in politics and industry. The base is 28" high, and consists of the 2 iron end pieces.
