General Motors Transfer Case ~ Also we Have the 4L60E Transmission - $375 (Pembroke nh)
General Motors Transfer Case - Low Mileage ~ 375.00
This was removed from my 1995 1500 Series PU truck with 82,000 Miles, had a rusty frame and was scrapped.
UPDATE: I have been told that the 1995 TRANSMISSION was a Year all on its own. I was told it was a transition year. I am unsure, perhaps you know better? This is from a 1995 Truck.
From my research the Transfer Case fits MANY Years.
Fitment: Years 1995-1998 GM 1500, 2500, 3500 truck. NP243 Some have said it fits some 1999-2000 years
It is connected to a 4L60E Automatic Transmission which at this point is still available as well. 750.00
I have located the Numbers on this Transmission ~ Listed Below. This is a 27-spline ~ 4L60E transmission
This Transmission is Ideal for Your 4 Wheel drive truck as it has the Necessary Flange for the Transfer Case to bolt to.
Tranny without the Flange is 750.00.
These are from a 1995 era PU Truck, same outer Casing and Transfer Case up to 1997 or 1998 models.
The bell Housing has a K stamped on Both sides, it also has M30 and TIM Stamped on it.
When you look in it where the Torque Converter goes, PIC 6 on the left it says: PWM which I believe means Pulse with Modulation Solenoid.
Do your research.

Numbers on Trans: 5KWD131 ... ... The numbers are also stamped on the case. Picture 13
From my research GM used a 1 Piece trans "Up To" around 1997 or 1998.
Then they went to a 2-piece Trans. If you have a 1-piece tranny with a bell housing like Pic 6 this will Physically fit your Truck.
But remember this is for a 4 Wheel Drive Truck Only. Not for 2-wheel drive unless you have the proper tailpiece from your old tranny to bolt on.
