Used heat pump hot water heater. Can be used as a highly-insulated hot water storage tank, with no repairs.

Heat pump unit requires an HVAC technician who can troubleshoot and repair the R134a refrigeration loop. Typically the issue is the expansion valve. When this unit’s refrigerant loop stopped working, we bought a larger capacity heat pump hot water heater instead of repairing this one. Evaporator coil is clean, see pictures.
Unit secured on a pallet and boxed, ready for transport
Cash price, firm.
New, this units costs $2,500
We briefly considered repairing this one and these were the notes from Stiebel Eltron:
“What is needed to repair the unit in this case is an HVAC tech who can troubleshoot and repair R134a refrigeration loops. The refrigeration loop in our Acceleras use the same four basic components as every refrigeration loop for the past 50+ years.”
